Whilst attending the 3 Peaks Cyclo-Cross event in North Yorkshire, one of our fell parties that included our Team Doctor, were presented with an injured 54-year-old male rider on the down slope of Whernside with injured ribs.
After our fell party had assessed the injured rider he was determined to be stable and well enough to walk the remaining distance to one our team vehicles on the track near Ribblehead, where he could then retire from the event.
