Shortly after incidents 42 and 43 were completed, the rescue team were presented with another rider on the downside of Whernside who had fallen and had injured himself.
A 37-year-old male with a shoulder injury was assessed on the hill by team members who determined he had an arm and shoulder injury; he was advised he could walk off and seek further help and assistance from the event first aid crew at Ribblehead.
