The incidents continued on the downside of Whernside during the event, this incident involved a 55-year-old male who had fallen from his bike and he described hearing his ribs crack as he hit the ground.
Our casualty was assessed by our team Doctor and fell party and as he had little pain, he was advised he could walk off the hill and seek further medical attention at the earliest opportunity.
