Pete Taylor today received his 50-year certificate for services to Bowland Pennine MRT and Mountain Rescue services.

Pete, who joined the rescue team back in 1972 as South Ribble Fell & Rescue Team and was their last Team Leader before amalgamation with the Northern Rescue Organisation to form Bowland Pennine Mountain Rescue in 1980. Pete, was also the first Team Leader for Bowland Pennine MRT from 1980 and was Team leader for 22 years in total.
