Incident 005/2021
On Wednesday 6th January 2021 mid morning we were requested by the North West Ambulance Service to assist with a 74 year old male who had fallen and taken a tumble whilst he was clearing and cleaning paths/tracks in Denham Quarry. He injured his shoulder and ribs during the fall and the ambulance service requested our specialist skills and equipment such as our Bell stretcher and Team members to evacuate him to safety and to the ambulance where he was then transferred into Preston Royal Infirmary.
We wish him a speedy recovery, for what is our 5th incident of 2021!
