On Thursday afternoon on the 21st October 2021 at approximately 13.10 pm, we received an alert from the North West Ambulance Service for assistance for a 53-year-old female walker who had slipped and had injured her ankle. Once the rescue team were on scene, we treated and evacuated the casualty to a land ambulance that wasn’t far away, our casualty was then transported into hospital for treatment.
