We were called to assist with a gentleman who was out walking near the Anglezark reservoir, he had slipped injuring his right ankle. He was in quite a bit of pain so we used our pain relieving gas Entonox. Once stable, we evacuated him on our mountain rescue Bell stretcher the short distance to the road head. After a period of time, we transferred him over to the North West Ambulance Service.
