The rescue Team supported the tough 3 Peaks Cyclo cross event on Sunday 24th September 2023. During the event the team attended to 3 cyclist on the course, an open lower leg fracture (incident 40), a head and groin injury (incident 41) and a broken collar bone (incident 42).
All 3 cyclist attended hospital as advised by ourselves for possible further treatment and care and we can report that they are all doing well in their recovery.
Many thanks to everyone who came up to us during the event to thank us, it is very much appreciated.
We wish all competitors who suffered any injury on the course a speedy and healthy recovery and we shall hopefully see you all next year.
