The rescue Team were called at 11.15hrs on Tuesday 30th April 2024 to assist with a 40-year-old female reported as ‘stuck in mud’ up to her thighs and sinking.
A full team alert was sent out and 17 volunteer Team members responded to the urgent call.
As Team members were arriving in Ribchester, it was determined that the casualty was now safe, our partner agencies and in particular the Air Ambulance crew had spotted the person and acted accordingly.
The incident took 2hrs 50 minutes overall, we worked with the Air Ambulance, Paramedics and Lancashire Fire and Rescue in this operation, we wish the casualty all the very best and hopefully there was no harm.
