Incident 042/2024
On Saturday 9th November 2024 at 15.29 hrs our rescue Team were requested by the North West Ambulance Service all to assist with a 38-year-old female who had fallen down a steep slope with a reported penetrating injury to chest.
Paramedics were on scene when team members arrived but between everyone the casualty was placed onto our mountain rescue Bell stretcher and extricated back to safety where the Ambulance was located.
15 team members of Bowland Pennine Mountain Rescue Team contributed to this rescue which took just under 3 hours to complete.
