Some of our rescue Team took part in a Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service wildfire exercise in the Forest of Bowland National Landscape alongside Greater Manchester Fire & Rescue Service, Merseyside Fire & Rescue Service, Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service, United Utilities, and Lancashire Constabulary.
The team were able to provide mapping, communications and safety support to the firefighters exercising on the fells.
This was an excellent opportunity for everyone to learn about each other, multi-agency work can be complex at times so sowing the seeds for the future and getting to know each other was a fantastic opportunity.
