On Friday 8th January 2021 at 09:25hrs the North West Ambulance Service asked the rescue Team to be on standby again due to heavy snow and icy conditions throughout our operational area. A total of 28 Team members made themselves available during the next 24 hours just in case the weather affected any ambulance operations that the rescue Team could assist with, however we were stood down early on Saturday the 9th as the weather conditions eased in our area.
