Sadly, on Saturday morning of the 12th April 2025, Lancashire Police contacted Incident Controllers of the rescue Team to assist and to carry out a body recovery of young man, believed to be the missing 31-year-old from incident 19.
At times like these, we always ask for volunteers from our rescue to carry out such duties and 12 Team members carried out the sad task of recovering the deceased back to a suitable road head where Police and the Undertaker could then continue with their duties.
As with all our sad outcomes, our deepest thoughts go out to the family and friends during these sad times.
*Post incident, it has been confirmed that the deceased is the 31-year-old male who the rescue Team endeavoured to find during incident 19.
