We were requested by Lancashire Police at 02.35hrs on Sunday 20th February 2022 to assist in a search for a high risk missing person who was believed to be in open land on Anglezark Moor or Healey Nab.
As with all searches, circumstances change, and as the rescue Team had just arrived to meet with the Police in the Amglezark Moor area, we received the good news that the missing person had been located and found safe and well.
Other resources we had arriving were Bolton Mountain Rescue, search dogs from the Cave Rescue Organisation and also Calder Valley Search & Rescue Team, which we quickly stood down on hearing the good news the missing person had been located.
We returned back to Garstang our operational base and homes respectively just in time for breakfast.
