At 00.35hrs on Thursday 28th September 2023 the rescue team were contacted by Lancashire Constabulary to assist with a female missing from home in the Garstang area.
The rescue team, which is based in Garstang worked from our HQ and quickly deployed hasty search parties within the area, and thankfully, the team found our vulnerable missing person within hours of being notified.
Our missing person had a quick medical assessment and was handed over to the Police.
An excellent ‘Team Find’ within our home area, and we wish our vulnerable person all the very best.
15 volunteers of Bowland Pennine Mountain Rescue Team were involved in this search which last 3 hours.
