Monday 14th August 2023, at 01.11 hrs Lancashire Police contacted the rescue team to assist in a search for a vulnerable male who had gone missing.
Team members gathered at our vehicle base in Garstang in the early hours and deployed fell troops to Nicky Nook, but the good news came in that he had been found safe, so the rescue team then stood down at 03.54 hrs.
15 volunteers of Bowland Pennine Mountain Rescue Team were involved in this incident, which took just under 3 hours.
