On Tuesday 12th November 2024 at 18.35 hrs the rescue team received a request from Lancashire Police to assist with a search for missing 8-year-old boy in the Quernmore area.
Thankfully, as Team members were arriving at Jubilee Tower to start the search in the cold and darkness, the good news was given that the 8-year-old had been found safe, cold but safe.
34 volunteers of Bowland Pennine Mountain Rescue and other rescue teams had been alerted in this incident.
