Tuesday 11th June 2024 the rescue Team were requested by our neighbours The Cave Rescue Organisation (CRO) to assist with a search in Tosside, near Gisburn Forrest.
The incident, which was initiated by the North Yorkshire Police (NYP) was to assist with a search for a 53-year-old male who had been reported as missing since the previous evening.
Sadly, a short while into the search Police Officers discovered the body of a man thought to be the missing person. Subsequent enquiries proved this to the case and our rescue Team stood down.
