On Wednesday afternoon, the 17th May 2023 the rescue team were requested by Lancashire Police to assist with an ongoing search for vulnerable 59-year-old male in the Wyre Country Park area of Stanah, an area we had visited previously for a search, incident number 017/2023 but for a different vulnerable person.
24 volunteers of Bowland Pennine MRT contributed to this operation which lasted 5 hours in total and while we were searching, the vulnerable missing person was located safe a well.
As always, our rescue team is willing to be involved in local searches and we hope the vulnerable male in this case receives the support and help that is required.
