Incident 015/2024
The rescue Team were requested for a second time today on Tuesday 30th April 2024 when at 3.15pm, the North West Ambulance Service called us for a medical emergency near High Bullough Reservoir, Anglezarke.
Team members, along with our colleagues Bolton Mountain Rescue, Air Ambulance and Paramedics attended to a 54-year-old male. He was treated at the scene and evacuated the short distance uphill to the Air Ambulance helicopter, he was then flown to a local hospital for treatment.
18 volunteers of Bowland Pennine Mountain Rescue Team were involved in this rescue, along with our colleagues from Bolton Mountain Rescue, Air Ambulance and Paramedics from the North West Ambulance Service.
