Incident 005/2022
The rescue Team were called by the North West Ambulance Service to assist with a 70-year-old female who was out walking along the reservoir bank of Anglezark reservoir. She had slipped on the muddy bank injuring her left ankle and was unable to walk.
The rescue Team, assessed our casualty, provided casualty care and first aid then stretchered her off the area using our Bell mountain rescue stretcher the 600 meters to the roadhead. The casualty was then handed over to the Paramedics for further assessment and transporting into the local hospital.
We wish our young lady a speedy recovery and hopefully she will be back on her feet walking very soon.
