Whilst providing fell / mountain cover for the MIDWEEK Madness MTB event at the Beacon Country Park, Skelmersdale during the evening of Wednesday 12th July 2023, one of the participants presented herself to the rescue team as she was suffering from an Asthma attack which was brought on by the event and exercise.
The team monitored her and with her own inhaler, she was then calm and composed. The rescue team then advised that she should be seen by her local GP/Hospital as a precaution.
6 team members attended the MTB event supporting the organisers in another event the team has been invited.
