The rescue Team were requested by the North West Ambulance Service at 14.34hrs on Monday 30th December 2024 to assist with a walker who had fallen in the Brinscall area.
The 37 year-old male had a potential broken ankle and Paramedics on scene had requested our expertise for the extrication, however as we were en route it was determined that the casualty was able to use family transport into the hospital.
The rescue Team stood down responding with vehicles and Team members returning to base.
18 volunteers were attending this incident and we wish the casualty a speedy recovery.
