On Monday evening, the 4th September the rescue Team were called by the North West Ambulance Service to attend to a 30-year-old male who had fallen from a rope swing and injured his back on rocks, the patient was breathing and awake.
The team and NWAS were stood down responding when the patient had made their own way out to the road head.
18 volunteers of Bowland Pennine Mountain Rescue Team were responding to this incident.
