Incident 049/2024
The rescue Team were requested by the North West Ambulance Service at 15.10 hrs on Saturday 30th November 2024 to attend a situation in Penwortham where a 15-year-old male had fallen off a rope swing in the middle of Middleforth Green with a potential broken leg.
On arrival, Paramedics were already on scene and the Team were required to move the casualty using our mountain rescue Bell stretcher across muddy ground to a local ambulance.
13 Team members of Bowland Pennine Mountain Rescue Team attended this incident which took just over the hour to complete.
