The rescue Team were requested by the North West Ambulance Service on Sunday afternoon 23rd April 2023 to attend to a elderly male who had tripped over whilst out walking in the Warton Crag area.
Once the rescue team were on scene, our casualty was treated and made comfortable. Fortunately we were able to drive a team vehicle and the Land Ambulance to the area were he was then transferred into the ambulance with the Paramedics.
We wish our casualty a swift recovery and all the very best for the future.
19 volunteer team members attended this incident which lasted 2 hours.
